GENERAL DUTIES: Visiting Professors will teach an advanced architectural studio and a seminar each semester, the topics of which will be proposed by the applicant in consultation with the Chair. Also, deliver one school-wide lecture and serve as guest critic during mid- and end-of-term reviews
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have demonstrated ability as an innovative design instructor who may also be a practitioner incorporating modalities of research in pedagogy and/or practice. Candidates must hold a current appointment as a full-time faculty member in a higher education institution. (Adjuncts and non-teaching practitioners do not qualify). Must be available to teach studio and a seminar on Mondays and Thursdays during the semester.
One Fall or Spring semester or one year appointments. Semester compensation: $60,000 – 63,000. Travel and housing are the responsibility of the candidate. The university does not provide housing or travel assistance.
