Job Summary Reporting to the Executive Director of Health Design and Construction, the Director of Architecture and Planning is responsible for planning and/or procuring the planning and architectural design services for Health capital and non-capital projects. This position will have oversight for directing, managing, budgeting, recruitment, and training for the Architectural Division.The Architectural Division is responsible for providing facility planning support, code analysis, and maintenance of UCSF Health design standards. The department acts as Architect of Record and provides design support on approximately 200 projects with dollar value up to $250,000 on an annual basis, with 10-20 in queue
