At the time of posting this job, the salary range for this position is between $95,000 – $130,000 for candidates with 10-20 years of industry experience, and $130,000 – 165,000 for candidates with 20+ years of industry experience. Our final compensation decisions include a candidate’s experience as well as qualifications, background and education.
WRNS Studio is looking for a Senior Interior Designer for our San Francisco studio.

Responsibilities
Develop project design direction in coordination with leadership
Understand and formulate design concepts and present to the client
Direct projects of all sizes and levels of complexity
Provide design leadership to the project team
Responsible for schematic design work
Participate in the design control of projects in the design development, construction document, and supervision phases
Provide direction to junior interior designers
Integrate design requirements with architecture
Prepare and develop with the team where required: drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design
Coordinate the internal design team for the project
Select and coordinate products and finishes for project that meet project sustainability goals
Provide branding concepts for architectural projects
Provide design direction for furniture and coordinate with furniture dealers to implement
Requirements
Minimum 10+ years’ experience
Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design (BS/BA/BFA/MA/MFA)
Strong interior design and leadership skills, demonstrating progressive responsibilities in all phases of architecture projects
Substantial experience in the innovative design of complex, large-scale workplace projects
Excellent Revit skills
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, Adobe applications, and Rhino
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Experience in construction phase
Demonstrated thorough knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques
Registered or pursuing registration preferred, LEED AP plus
Strong planning skills are valuable
Excellent knowledge of furniture, furniture systems, and interior finishes.
Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team
