OHM Advisors is seeking a Principal Architect to join our growing Southeast Michigan Architecture practice. This key leadership role involves winning, designing, and leading diverse public-sector projects, from public safety to recreational facilities. As a public sector Architecture leader, you'll significantly contribute to our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities & Impact:

• Strategic & Operational Leadership: Provide comprehensive leadership for the local architecture practice, fostering a robust design and technical culture.
• Team & Talent Development: Recruit, supervise, and mentor staff, building a high-performing team.
• Business Growth: Cultivate strong client relationships and lead business development strategies to secure new project opportunities.
• Project & Design Oversight: Lead multiple projects through all phases, actively guiding the design process, defining scope, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Market Presence: Be the prominent face of OHM Architecture in the local market and engage actively with the industry.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Provide strong mentorship and foster a highly collaborative environment across project teams and geographic locations.

What We're Looking For:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with minimum of 10 years of experience, specifically delivering public-sector projects.
• Licensure: Licensed Architect in Michigan or ability to achieve via NCARB certification/reciprocity.
• Leadership & Communication: Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills; a proactive, goal-oriented leader adept at managing change.
• Organizational & Interpersonal Skills: Detail-oriented, well-organized, with excellent listening skills, diplomacy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
