We are seeking a talented Project Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the production of architecture documentation for the design, development, and construction of new and existing hotels.
Responsibilities
Provides services in all phases of the architecture including site planning, building design and detailing, design documentation and construction
Will work directly with Senior Architect and at times work independently on new and renovation projects.
Maintains the project schedule by ensuring the timely preparation of deliverables on assigned tasks and
Participates in project team coordination for incorporating design intent in to the construction documentation, specifications, and during construction
Helps with all aspects of the construction administration of projects, including review of shop drawings and submittals, quality control, requests for information and site
Facilitates coordination with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specifications, and regulatory agencies under general supervision to meet overall project
Maintains close collaboration with design team, consultants, contractors, and
Helps to evaluate new products and systems, energy savings strategies, cost saving initiatives and other process efficiency within the department.
General Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
Mastery of architectural and engineering designs, concepts and terminology including relevant building codes and standards.
Ideal Candidate will have strong interest and excellent REVIT AutoCad experience is required for renovation projects.
Proficient with all aspects of MS Design illustration software like sketch-up, photoshop, or other 3D visualization software experience is preferred.
Knowledge of building codes, energy analysis and rebates, and jurisdictional Technically fluent with general experience in applying to normal project conditions.
Experience in construction document preparation and field
Skilled in leadership, organization, business writing, and communication
Must be able to work independently, multi-task, be a team player, possess a can-do attitude, and be a self-starter.
Education:
Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited school of architecture, preferred.
Experience:
2 years minimum of progressive experience in a similar position required. Licensed or Licensure track preferred.
