Line and Space, LLC, a firm recognized for creating environmentally sensitive architecture that responds to program and place, is seeking outstanding individuals with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience to join their award-winning Tucson, Arizona firm. Individuals with more experience are also encouraged to apply.
Candidates should be passionate about architecture, have strong design sensibilities, be self-motivated to advance early designs into the documentation and construction phases, and be willing to work in-person within our Tucson studio.
Responsibilities:
Support senior staff during the early design phase
Assist in the creation of presentation materials, such as renderings, drawings and models
Enhance overall project design by developing creative and thoughtful solutions to design problems
Preparing complete drawings for the Design Development and Contract Documents Phase
Support senior staff during the Construction Administration Phase
Coordination of documents with design team and consultants
Complete projects within given time parameters
Travel to project sites to gather existing building information and complete as built drawings for existing facilities
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in architecture
3-5 years of work experience in an architectural office
Strong Revit skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with 3D rendering software such as Enscape and 3d Studio Max
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and strong organization skills
Ability to work independently and engage in a collaborative team environment
Strong technical skills and understanding of how buildings are assembled and built
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Registered architect preferred but not required
