DBA pays per the AIA Compensation report based on experience level
Daniel Beck Architecture llc is a full-service firm based in Charleston, SC with our focus being on high-end residential design. This includes everything from new oceanfront homes to historic renovations. Every project is unique.
The firm has developed a growing reputation for very detailed work and is looking to add another team member to help support that continued growth.
The ideal candidate would have experience, either as an Architect, Emerging Professional, or unlicensed staff, in a high-end residential firm that utilized Autodesk Revit.
They would be capable of collaborating with other team members during the Design Development, Interior Architecture, and Construction Drawing Phases to create beautiful, well-coordinated drawing sets that accurately conveyed the information necessary for a G.C. and their subcontractors to construct the design.
They would have an understanding or an interest in knowing and showing, via drawings, how all the various parts and pieces of a design go together. (i.e. - how should the baseboard touch the casing or how should the stair stringer turn the corner)
They would equally enjoy modeling interior trim conditions or redlining and revising a door and window schedule because both are the same practice of making sure everything is just so.
Informed by the reality of what we learned in the pandemic, DBA is set up to be a primarily virtual studio with some of our team members operating remotely. The current opening is for one of those remote positions.
The ideal candidate would be searching the job board and reading this particular post because they realized they can work effectively and stay motivated in a remote environment and don't want to return to the daily commute.
The ideal candidate wants to continue working in the realm of high-end residential Architecture but doesn't want to be forced to operate in the same manner as they did pre-pandemic.
