SITELAB urban studio is looking for a senior urban designer to join our San Francisco team. Our ideal candidate has experience working on strategic and urban design projects in the US, with an ability to weave together pragmatism and vision. We are a fast-paced office and are looking for someone who is a thinker, curious, engaged, team-oriented, ready for a challenge, has a sense of humor and is driven by making equitable, inclusive communities.
Candidates must have 8-10 years post-degree or 15+ cumulative years of working experience—including managing projects and leading design direction. Based on current project needs, desired professional experience includes leading massing studies, managing development program tables, navigating building and planning codes, facilitating client meetings, and pursuing new projects. Fluency in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Excel is required. A master’s degree in urban design, city planning, architecture, or landscape architecture (or equivalent experience) is preferred. Salary range 85-130k DOE.
