JEMA is adding a Project Architect to our team. This person will be responsible for drafting, code compliance, and technical proficiency on multiple simultaneous projects. Experience with municipal, multi-family, educational and workplace architecture is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and review consultant proposals for projects
Develop internal project schedules and keep updated throughout duration of the project
Engage in professional and direct communication with clients and consultants
Review building code, accessibility compliance and zoning/ordinance restrictions
Contribute to continual development and improvement of project architecture protocols, construction documents and instruments of service
Prepare meeting minutes, distribute project deliverables and perform site visits and observation reports during the construction phase
Lead the JEMA project team through all phases of the project
Work collaboratively with all staff and delegate and coordinate project work and serve as a mentor to junior staff
Manage time, communication and documentation effectively to handle multiple projects at one time

Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years experience required
Proficiency in Auto-Desk - REVIT required
Degree in Architecture
Architectural license preferred
Experience with Adobe Creative suite preferred
Experience in the management, production and/or coordination of a wide range of commercial projects required.
