JEMA is adding a Project Architect to our team. This person will be responsible for drafting, code compliance, and technical proficiency on multiple simultaneous projects. Experience with municipal, multi-family, educational and workplace architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and review consultant proposals for projects
• Develop internal project schedules and keep updated throughout duration of the project
• Engage in professional and direct communication with clients and consultants
• Review building code, accessibility compliance and zoning/ordinance restrictions
• Contribute to continual development and improvement of project architecture protocols, construction documents and instruments of service
• Prepare meeting minutes, distribute project deliverables and perform site visits and observation reports during the construction phase
• Lead the JEMA project team through all phases of the project
• Work collaboratively with all staff and delegate and coordinate project work and serve as a mentor to junior staff
• Manage time, communication and documentation effectively to handle multiple projects at one time

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years experience required
• Proficiency in Auto-Desk - REVIT required
• Degree in Architecture
• Architectural license preferred
• Experience with Adobe Creative suite preferred
• Experience in the management, production and/or coordination of a wide range of commercial projects required.
• Project Management skills a plus!
