YBA Architects is seeking a Job Captain with excellent design skills and a strong knowledge of architectural design. This position will involve all stages of design and construction, with a focus on mixed-use multi-family, office and retail work of all scales.
The primary function of a Job Captain is to take responsibility for the production of quality contract documents while taking direction from the Project Architect and or the Project Manager.

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:
4+ years professional experience in construction documents using Revit
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Design, or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft, Revit, Bluebeam, AutoCAD required; Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Enscape / Lumion, VRAY a plus
Previous experience working on mixed-use/multifamily projects
Knowledge of specifications and construction details
Knowledge of Oregon and/or Washington building codes
Comfort working independently, demonstrates professionalism in dealing with a variety of clients as well as vendors
Self-motivated, energetic, and organized, with strong graphic and communication skills
