POSITION SUMMARY: Dominium’s in house Architecture team focuses on creating permit and bid documents on multifamily projects for our Development teams. We are seeking a fulltime Architectural Designer II to support Architectural Project Managers on a wide variety of rehab and new construction projects in either our Plymouth, MN or Dallas, TX office. An ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual with a background in production, design, and graphic delivery. Experience working on multi-family projects is a plus. This position gives you an opportunity to grow into learning the business of Architecture.
Works closely with the Architectural Project Managers, Architects and experienced Architectural Designers in creating drawing and specification standards.
Responsible for creating production drawings to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
Assists the team in coordinating project information and timing.
Works in a team environment producing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Leads and mentors Architectural Designer I staff.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to lead project teams
QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training and Experience.)
Professional degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
3+ years of experience
Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam software.
Excellent communications and organization skills.
Has a high knowledge about how buildings get put together.
Ability to balance workload and deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong graphic and visualization skills to create design ideas and detail standards.
