7 - 10 years of relevant experience as a project manager or project architect
Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and Excel experience required
Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
Team player, strong leadership, organizational, communication and time management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related field a plus
CA Architectural license required and LEED accreditation a plus.
Represent RDC to clients
Manage project scope, schedule, budget and approval requirements for public projects
Prepare project schedules and work plans in Microsoft Project CPM scheduling software
Monitor weekly project staff allocations and project budgets
Prepare task loaded fee proposals utilizing Excel
Coordinate and manage teams utilizing Revit software
Work collaboratively with RDC principals and project teams
Coordinate multiple aspects of client, engineer, sub-consultant and general contractor relationships
Review, coordinate and incorporate the work of consultant engineers
Assist in the resolution of complex technical building assembly and design issues
Develop and maintain the project manual and specifications
Conduct and document on-site observations
Manage the processing of construction submittals, RFIs, substitution requests and shop drawings
Interface with building and permitting officials during the design, permitting and construction phases
