WORLEY ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS is seeking a graduate from an accredited architectural program with 3-5 years of experience in the architecture field, including experience working on a variety of project types. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, passionate, and eager to take on a variety of tasks from concept through construction administration. work collaboratively from conceptual design through construction administration, with supervision and support from senior staff
assist with product research and material selection
research and implementation of building codes
coordinate with the project team (engineers, et al.) to develop construction documents that accurately implement design intent
participate in construction administration by attending site visits and addressing technical issues with guidance from the project team
communicate with engineers, consultants, clients, contractors, and building officials to successfully meet overall project objectives
recognize the financial aspect of a project and understands basic principles involved in the projects’ and firm's profitability.
understand the importance of growing and maintaining client relationships and the basic concept of business development
assist in pursuit of new job opportunities
participate in weekly office meetings to discuss business development opportunities, active project management and general team coordination
What you’ll need:
a Bachelor or Master of Architecture
3-5 years of Architectural experience, licensed or on the licensure track
strong communications skills; spoken, written, and graphic
an exceptionally positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
effective time management skills to work within several concurrently tight deadlines
enthusiasm and efficiency in responding to the team’s needs
experience in the selection of building materials and detailing systems
proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office
USGBC LEED accreditation is a plus
