BBB is seeking an Interior Designer to join our Mixed-Use Multi-family Residential Design Studio in our New York office to work on various projects at all stages of the design and construction process. In addition to the experience and skills listed below, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an interest in working on contemporary projects, a strong design sense with technical grounding, and an ability to contribute to a creative process to develop innovative design concepts and solutions.

• Independently evaluate, select and apply architectural, including FF&E, solutions for specified assignments with support and direction from a Senior Architect or above.
• 3-5 years of related professional experience. 
• Researches and prepares graphics for presentations for space planning, furniture, equipment and material selection, and specification documentation.
• Knowledge in preparing contract documents such as plans, details, millwork design, furniture layouts, RCPs, finish plans, and schedules
• Proficient in Auto Cad and Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and 3D rendering skills a plus (Rhino or sketch up, or V-Ray)
• Research manufacturers and help select materials, colors, finishes, furniture, and lighting.
• Documentation of building site conditions, including existing structural components, mechanical and electrical details for planning purposes. 
• Collaborate on and contribute to project design development, documentation, and Construction Administration.
• Strong Revit proficiency is required, and familiarity with graphics and presentation applications is desirable.
• Professional degree in Interior Design.
• Independently applies advanced architectural and interior design concepts and produces materials to convey those concepts to the team, the client, and the contractor.
• Able to communicate and present design issues and solutions internally.
• Able to manage deliverable production and schedules independently for smaller projects and with senior assistance for larger projects.
• Able to manage tasks on more than one project at a time.
• Fluent in design technology software, specifically Revit.
