We have an immediate need for a full-time Architectural Project Manager who is passionate about architecture and interested in furthering their technical knowledge. This position will also serve in a leadership capacity and mentor younger employees.
Manage projects from feasibility and site selection through completion of construction
Lead and/or review project designs
Supervise and review staff construction document production
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors
Prepare land use applications and represent client at public hearings
Assist with permit review questions and apply for appeals
Provide construction administration including site visits, response to contractor questions, and review shop drawings
Assist with office management and decisions
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 8 years of experience in an architectural firm, with at least 4 years of project management experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited program
Architectural license is preferred but not required
LEED AP is preferred but not required
Residential care facilities experience is a plus
Sense of humor is greatly appreciated
Willingness to pitch in on all levels of the office
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Proficiency with AutoCAD (REVIT preferred)
Proficiency with Sketchup
Knowledge of building, accessibility, and zoning codes
Ability to communicate well through written, graphic, and verbal formats
Advanced ability for creative problem solving
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Leadership and mentorship skills and experience
