The School of Design + Construction (SDC) at Washington State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor with a start date of August 16, 2022. We seek candidates with a research focus in one or more of the following strategic research areas of the School and College:
Decarbonization of the Built Environment:
Emerging technologies and advanced computational design
Health and Well-being
The candidate will have the ability to translate research into teaching in both studio and non-studio core professional program courses in architecture. The candidate should also possess the ability to contribute to teaching and research in the other disciplines of the school via interdisciplinary courses across the curricula. Those with multidisciplinary built environment research and teaching interests are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must possess an accredited degree in architecture either a professional Bachelor degree or a Master’s degree. MARCH

Applicants must have at least 3 years of professional practice.

PhD in discipline related to the design and construction professions.
Record of external funding and publications for research.
Substantial higher education teaching experience in an architecture program.
Licensure in architecture or other professional license.
5 years of industry experience.
