Founded in 1906, CJMW Architecture is a 50-person firm, and one of the Southeast’s oldest architecture and interior design practices. Our work takes us throughout the southeast from offices in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Lynchburg, Virginia. CJMW Architecture partners with clients in a relationship based on trust, mutual vision, and good communication – all focused on achieving client goals. We ask good questions and listen well, bringing our expertise to the process and working collaboratively. The goal is to enhance our clients’ mission with creative, cost-effective design solutions. Led by a firm principal, CJMW Architecture design teams provide the service and attention of a small firm, backed by the resources and depth of expertise of a large firm. Clients consistently commend us for the quality of both our design and our service. Our work runs the gamut from corporate offices to museums, hotels to hospitals. We have particular strengths in senior living, hospitality, and adaptive re-use projects. As a firm, we have a commitment to our community, whether through private community service, pro bono work, or group community projects. We strive to be a place where people enjoy coming to work and can take pride in the work they do.
