We are currently seeking a full-time Preservation Architect with proven leadership skills for our Detroit or Ann Arbor office. This position provides opportunities for professional growth and engagement. The ideal candidate must be motivated, a creative thinker, and be passionate about creating and preserving places that enrich and inspire. The position involves working with diverse teams on a wide range of local and national projects, including projects involving the National Park Service, historic tax credits, conditions assessments, adaptive reuse, as well as civic and cultural institutions.

Professional degree in Architecture with a minimum of 6 years of experience working on preservation and adaptive reuse projects; a degree or certificate in historic preservation is preferred Demonstrated leadership and experience working in team environments Excellent writing and graphic communication skills Experience working with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties In-depth knowledge of construction materials and assemblies, including existing construction and historic finishes Proficient in the development of construction documents Proficient with Revit; knowledge of Deltek Vision or Newforma is a plus Attention to detail, organized, and self-motivated
