Reporting to the Creative Director, Brand Experience & Design, the Sr. Designer (2D) will lead in the creative ideation of experience design for various projects at CVS Health. This passionate graphic designer must bring a strong creative aesthetic and brand driven strategic thinking. This role will design to a range of branded applications within our stores and in our extended experience moments.
Must demonstrate strategic and creative problem solving with a deep understanding of design to develop compelling concepts that are on brand and meet business objectives. Must have strong presentation skills and an incredible eye for detail.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Generate impactful creative ideas and executions that deliver and adhere to the brand vision and brand standards while ensuring consistency
Presents design concepts, serving as subject matter expert in formal meetings with senior and management level team members, for design reviews and approval
Bring ideas and creative to life across a wide scope of unique projects through innovation and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies
Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with peers, internal business teams and external agencies
Apply deep and demonstrated experience in design for a broad range of deliverables
Successfully use skills and knowledge to create compelling themes, ideas and designs that are on brand, and meet or exceed business objectives.
Partner with ideation and implementation to deliver on the brief and project expectations and ensure execution of ideas as planned
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Architecture, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design or similar
Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a senior graphic designer position at a design firm, agency, and/or corporate environment with examples of how their contributions assisted in the development of breakthrough creative including signage and branding
Ability to demonstrate a passion for strategic and creative problem solving to meet business objectives
Ability to lead and generate impactful creative ideas and executions that deliver and adhere to the brand vision and brand standards while ensuring consistency
Ability to understand creative briefs and translate the input into ideas
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge and understanding of latest global experience and retail concepts and trends.
Acute sense of health and wellness, pop culture, retail, tech and design trends
Able to create designs that reflect and expand on brand guidelines with knowledge of typography, color and composition
Concept to production knowledge for preparation of files for print implementation
The individual must understand interior and exterior environmental, architecture, interior design, and digital technologies.
Technical skills include the Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, hand sketching and proficient on a Mac
