The Project Manager plans, executes, delegates, and evaluates projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets and ensures quality control throughout project timelines.
Manage day-to-day work of design team
Manage multiple projects from start to end, ensuring all are on-schedule
Be accountable to Lead Architect for project results
Assist Lead Architect with client proposals
Clearly communicate expectations to team members
Resolve issues throughout project timeline
Effectively manage project scope and ensure change orders are documented and approved in writing by client. Inform Lead Architect as-needed.
Determine if external consultants or contractors are required to complete a project.
Track and report project milestones
Manage, lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
Assist Lead Architect to train new team members thoroughly and effectively
Manage and evaluate tools and best practices for project management and execution
Regularly inform Lead Architect of projects status and assist Lead Architect with evaluating project budgets and procedures
Minimum 4-year degree in Architecture. Other related field may also be considered.
Excellent computer and typing skills. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD. Other similar CAD software may also be considered.
5-7 years management experience in architecture, project management, and/or related field (required)
Reliable attendance and strong time management
Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills
