The Campus Planner provides professional guidance and oversight of the planning and concept design process for the physical features of the university campus. The Campus Planner position reports to the Assistant Director of Planning, within the Planning, Design, and Construction office, which is a part of Campus Services. Our ideal candidate an experienced registered architect that enjoys working with people, is an expert at leading big picture and complex discussions and has a firm grasp of a mix of building types.
Coordinate and lead multiple University Units’ space & program needs to guide stakeholders through the Capital Planning Process with University Leadership.
Leads the in-house and consultant-led efforts to develop feasibility, programming, and design phase projects of varying scale.
Prepares and administers capital project budgets and works to ensure that project designs adhere to university aesthetic and quality standards.
Must be a registered architect.
A professional degree in architecture, campus planning, or a related field and seven years of experience managing multiple and diverse capital projects, including master planning, facilities design, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
