Powe Studio Architects has an opportunity in our Charlottesville, VA studio for a technically-experienced design-sensitive project architect with a minimum of 8 years of experience in, and a passion for detailing complex mid-rise facilities, to join our design team to lead production of multifamily, hotel and urban mixed-use projects in the Charlottesville, VA and Washington, DC regions, generating design detailing in close collaboration with our Design Principal.
An ideal candidate to join our team in this project leadership role would have the following qualifications:
Professional architecture degree (5 year or Master’s program)
Licensed Virginia Architect preferred, NCARB certified a plus
Minimum of 8 years of design development and construction documents experience
Passion for detailing complex facilities, detailing multifamily, hospitality and mixed-use facilities
Skill in Revit, with Lumion rendering experience a plus
Hotel design development & production experience a plus
Single family custom homes detailing also a plus
Significant expertise in building codes and regulations
LEED accreditation and/or PassivHaus experience also a plus
Collaborative approach to design and technical excellence
