We seek a full-time employee to join our design team. The position will be based out of our satellite architectural studio in Winthrop, Washington, in the heart of the beautiful Methow Valley.

The Methow Valley and surrounding North Cascades mountain range have long represented a mecca for climbers, hikers and skiers. As a result, our small but thriving office in Winthrop, Washington has produced multiple award-winning vacation cabins. In addition, we often take on local, community-based projects, such as a recently-completed Montessori school and a (currently under construction) public library, both in the town of Winthrop. You should be eager to learn, flexible, and able to engage a variety of projects and tasks. We need someone up to the challenge of creative problem-solving in design, from initial sketch to housewarming party.

The ideal candidate has at least six years of experience working on custom residential architecture in a small firm, and is looking for a full-time job leading projects in a fun, collaborative environment with the chance to use and develop a broad array of skills and knowledge. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable with the residential construction process, and who is well rounded in all aspects of project delivery including design, presentation, construction documents, and construction administration. The right person will be someone looking to jump with both feet into both life in the Valley and the challenges of thoughtful, high quality design work.
