Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking an IT Design Technologies Manager with a positive, collaborative work style to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM), Autodesk’s Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Collection, specifically Revit, AutoCAD and Civil3D. The candidate should also be familiar with other industry tools including Bluebeam and Newforma and working with virtualization technologies such as Citrix and VMware. This person will work in our Newport Beach, CA office.
Provide technical orientation to New Hires regarding BIM tools
Provide Revit Fundamentals and Intermediate training to staff
Assist in developing, implementing and enforcing standards
Develops hardware (or virtual hardware) standards for use with design technology and software titles.
Automate routines in BIM to support standards and productivity
Assist project teams in BIM project set up
Create Revit families in response to project needs
Help resolve BIM design issues
Provide network and software support as it relates to design technologies
Provides support for plotters and printing to plotters.
Evaluate new BIM related software and technologies
Stay informed on best practices for use of REVIT Architecture and BIM
The ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Information Technology or Computer Science preferred);
Experience with public and private clouds;
Ability to multi-task and prioritize; and
Ability to address issues which may arise outside of normal business hours.
