BuildingWork is hiring for a project architect / project manager.
Candidates must have the experience and capability to provide project leadership. This includes the abilities to advance project design, develop technical detailing, prepare project documentation, consultant coordination, manage permitting and entitlement processes, and construction administration. Project management skills such as scheduling, management of work flow and fee, deadlines, deliverables, and effective client communication are also desired.
Successful candidates will have well-developed interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, the ability to work both independently and in teams, and interest in participating in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
The minimum requirements for this position include:
• An accredited professional architecture degree (B.Arch. or M.Arch).
• Architect license or in process of completing licensure.
• Six years or more of professional architecture firm experience.
• Ability to work effectively at the project architect level.
• Experience working in a 3D design and documentation platform (BIM).
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
