NANDINEE PHOOKAN ARCHITECTS (NPA) is seeking a candidate with 7-10 years’ experience in architectural and interior design to provide quality control and construction administration for a large public project.
Coordination of Architectural and Interior details during the construction phase.
Control of design during the construction process and the ability to resolve technical/design issues and develop details based on field conditions.
Supervise site coordination and quality control of construction and mock-ups. Coordination and verification of materials, finishes and details.
Communication with design team to resolve design/ technical related items prior to fabrication/ installation.
Review and correct contractors’ drawings in Construction Administration phase to guarantee compliance of construction process with architectural design intent.
Willing to work at the on site office.
B Arch degree is a minimum requirement.
7 - 10 years of experience in all phases of architectural and interior design, construction documents and construction administration. Experience in construction administration of large scale projects desirable.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with experience in construction documents/ interior detailing.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with NYC and NYS code and zoning requirements.
Must be a team player with a good attitude and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines when necessary.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
