Manage a department of up to 20 people. As we do both exterior and interior design, you must have knowledge of both.
Be in front of the clients, participating in marketing activities and sales efforts since you will be managing over $5 Million dollars on the books and be responsible to bring in additional work.
Manage multiple aspects of client/owner and project coordination, leading client/owners, vendors, contractors, sub-contractors and the design team through the planning, design, documentation, and construction process for healthcare-related projects.
Communicate directly with internal healthcare team.
Present, coordinate, lead, and participate in meetings with clients’ senior leadership.

This person will report to the owners of the company, primarily to the COO. There are two owners and they both sit right in the middle of everyone else in the office. No private offices. All the employees work in an open office in cubicles.
The position is open because this is our largest area of growth in the company and we expect more.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
Be experienced in all areas of healthcare design, coordination, and construction
Be knowledgeable of commonly used concepts, practices, codes, and procedures with the healthcare architecture industry, including current NFPA 99 and IBC
Be experienced with AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-up, and Microsoft Office
Be experienced writing and preparing Functional Narrative for State Department of Health
Demonstrate leadership and mentoring skills
Be team oriented and not a one person show.
Have mentoring experience as the leader and great communications skills.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment. Collaboration is important.
