Small, West Los Angeles (Mar Vista) firm with a variety of commercial and residential work on the boards seeks a full-time professional, organized project manager. Successful candidates will have a 5-year degree in Architecture (BArch) plus 3 or more years of architecture firm office experience. Candidates must also be proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop and MS Office. Candidates should have a working knowledge of permitting process and government agencies, although much City work is handled by an in house permit expeditor. Ideal candidate will have a great attitude and be able to wear many hats. Sorry, but we are not seeking part time, or contract employees. This is a 40 hour per week HOURLY position, not salary, so employee is paid overtime on the rare occasion working over 40 hours is necessary. Benefits include health insurance allowance, vacation, sick days, reimbursed licensing testing, and paid holidays. We work hard, but have a somewhat relaxed environment. No recruiters, please.
