Role Description & Details
The Project Architect is a key component to the success of every project and is responsible for the management of a variety of high-end commercial TI projects.
You will be afforded a high degree of autonomy to work with clients to establish and understand their goals and remain a valued partner throughout construction administration.
The Project Architect will contribute meaningfully to the success and growth of the firm, guide your own professional development and interests through our continuing education benefits as a continual refinement of your talents as a well-rounded architectural professional.
You will coordinate with and report to a Senior Project Architect in NY and may occasionally work with senior staff members in San Francisco. We anticipate visits to the home office from time-to-time.
You will be working on projects where the successful application of your management talents will enrich the lives of all manner of people: vulnerable patient populations, health-conscious foodies, office workers seeking maximum productivity, and entrepreneurs seeking to create meaningful customer experiences.

The skills we expect the Project Architect to consistently practice and refine include:
7+ years Project Architect / Project Management Experience
Lead the development of commercial tenant improvement projects while contributing meaningfully to the design
Ability to successfully manage projects and the corresponding budgets around a client’s needs and ambitions
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage time and resources
Strong technical skills and an ability to oversee the production of construction documents in an accurate, complete and timely manner
Experience with complex client presentations and service and the ability to take client direction
Comfortable assuming responsibility to bring in each project within the architect’s fee and construction budget constraints
Superior interpersonal and written English communication skills
An understanding of MMA office systems, standards and best practices
Software proficiency in Revit desired
