The BIM Manager role will focus on our design processes and practices through the integration of digital tools and workflows for all architecture staff. This role will be responsible for increasing well organized workflows; interaction with the LA and NYC offices, and the development and integration of new concepts in the digital project delivery and the value added to our clients. This will be a very hands-on role, which requires exceptional communication, interpersonal and training skills. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is efficient, strategic thinking and has a solid understanding of architecture.
• Collaborate with both design and architecture teams in the development of project specific implementation strategies and maintaining modeling quality, firmwide, and continuity of information across applications. • Implement BIM Execution Plan, Collaboration Plan and Revit Best Practices. • Create Revit templates, families and standard documents. • Provide digital design support to end users. • Document and communicate processes, procedures, practices and workflows. • Structure and conduct continuing education workshops and assist with curriculum development.
• Experience in all phases of the architectural design process. • Strong communication skills. • High level proficiency leveraging Revit in the production process, as well able to administer, configure and maintain the application. • Demonstrated experience supporting Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, Rhino, Grasshopper, 3D Max, and other applications utilized in Arquitectonica. • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related professional degree. • Experience working in an Architectural firm is a MUST. • Working knowledge of Design Visualization, VR, CD and Environmental Analysis applications. • Spanish a Plus. • Experience as an architect/designer or architectural technologist is a valuable asset in understanding the connection between BIM, Architecture and Design.
