We are looking for a project architect with eight (8) or more years of architectural healthcare experience, licensure preferred but not required, bachelor's degree in architecture preferred. Travel is a strong possibility.

Previous California healthcare experience preferred

Knowledge of OSHPD regulations and willingness to learn.
Knowledge of building codes and a willingness to learn.
Strong attention to details while maintaining a consistent workflow.
Control projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovation, and functional design.
Identify client’s needs and put together design proposals.
Develop architecture in line with client needs, usage, and environment impact.
Produce detailed drawings and make any necessary corrections.
Compile project specifications.
Keep within project budgets and timelines.
Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
Process plans thru the Agency Having Jurisdiction.
Assist in the bidding and contractor selection process.
Make on-site visits to check project status.
Coordinate with construction representatives.
Participate in project close out process.
