Fisher Construction Group provides a full-service experience for its clients, directly hiring employees skilled in architecture, structural and civil engineering and MEP/Process engineering to assist construction project managers to complete projects for a list of new and repeat clients.
The Staff Architect works as an integral part of a Fisher project team to develop building systems for clients. Meetings with clients and consultants are frequent and may require travel to meet with clients on their project sites or with local permitting jurisdictions.
The Staff Architect works under the supervision of a Principal or Project Architect to prepare design and construction documents.
The Staff Architect may provide assistance on the project design by using the Revit computer added design program or BIM modeling program.
The Staff Architect reviews and coordinates shop drawings and and may prepare or assist in the preparation of construction administration phase documents.
The Staff Architect may attend on-site meetings during the construction phase and assists construction staff by clarifying technical design elements.
A Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or an advanced technical degree and 4 years of experience is the minimum qualification for this position.
The ability to obtain licensing as an Architect is desired, and is necessary for promotion to higher positions; however, licensing is not a required element of this position.
