KGD Architecture is currently seeking an experienced and talented architect with both design and project leadership experience to join our team. The position will include all aspects of design, from concept to Construction Documents. The work also requires project management experience of complex projects. Candidates should be able to demonstrate leadership within a collaborative team environment and a commitment to a high quality of design as well as a personalized client service.
10+ years of commercial architecture design experience, including experience with large scale commercial and/or institutional projects.
Bachelor or Masters degree in Architecture required
Architectural Registration preferred
Excellent analytical, visual, and verbal communication skills
Proven ability in problem identification, problem solving, and conflict resolution
Experience with yield studies and creating different solutions to a program
Experience in preparing construction documents and specifications, construction administration, and field observation.
Extensive knowledge of building codes, zoning , and construction techniques
Proficiency in Autocad, Sketchup, Revit, MS Office, and Adobe CS
