MG2 is looking for talented FFE [JB1] Project Designer to join our Seattle, WA office. We are hiring for our Hospitality market.

The Interior Furniture, Fixture & Equipment (FFE) Designer holds a key role in establishing and executing the design story, color and finish palette, and FFE design from project inception through to project installation. He or she partners with the Project Designer to develop initial concepts for amenity, guestroom, and residential spaces with an area expertise in finishes, materials, decorative lighting, casework design, art +[JB2] accessory packages, FFE layouts and FFE selections.
The FFE Designer has in-depth and current knowledge of vendors and manufacturers, materials and finishes; fostering elegant and informed design selections and creating holistically designed interior living and leisure environments.
Responsibilities will include:
Concepts, designs and implements the space planning of amenity, guestroom and residential unit spaces – both interior and exterior
Develops schematic design of finishes/materials, decorative lighting, FFE palette, and art package from established project story, program, and client needs
Designs with a vast working knowledge of material and manufacturer resources as is appropriate to interior finishes and FFE
Develops schematic FF&E design based on project criteria, program and budget
Develops and maintains the project-wide FF&E budget in tandem with final design presentation of all FF&E, art, accessories
Coordinates FF&E installation with all parties involved
3+ years of experience in the hospitality market
Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills
Proficient with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, hand sketching / detailing
Knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, materials application and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
Advanced knowledge of furniture, fixture and equipment (FF&E), architectural/interior finishes, lighting, signage, art, and color schemes to carryout design intent.
Excels in the FFE specification process and is passionate about establishing firmwide standards and best-practice in this area of expertise
Excels in the FFE coordination process between the design team and the purchasing agent,resulting in a seamless procurement process
Excels during the FFE installation process as the onsite coordinator for amenity, guestroom, and model unit FFE installations – as both am ambassador to the Client; and as a leader of team efforts onsite
