A dynamic studio in Portland, ME is seeking an architectural intern with design ability and an appreciation for a collaborative environment.
With frequent oversight by a licensed Architect, manage the following aspects of a design project from PD through CA including at least the following:
Design Budget as it relates to hours designated for the intern
Conceptual Design – With Project Architect collaboration
Production of Working Drawings
Production of Presentation Drawings
Code and Ordinance reviews - With Project Architect collaboration
Engineering and Contractor coordination
6 Weeks Paid time off

Degree in support of an Architectural license required (accredited Master’s degree or 5 year Bachelor’s degree).
A minimum of 3 years of experience with a demonstrated variety of project types and project delivery methods.
Revit or ArchiCAD experience preferred
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Ability to work independently as well as support multiple projects simultaneously
Substantial knowledge of procedures for production of construction documents
