This exciting new position combines several responsibilities to have a greater impact on the planning and development of capital projects on the state capitol campus and for other DES managed properties. The Campus Architect will be responsible for creating and managing systems to assess the condition of building components; make estimates about remaining useful life and plan for replacement. This position will lead staff efforts to support the State Capitol Committee, and the Capitol Campus Design Advisory Committee.
The Campus Architect will not only be responsible for the development of the capital budget for the state capitol and other DES managed properties, the Campus Architect will also be responsible for the delivery of those projects on time and on budget.
