Coordinates design of projects with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative relationship that will result in the most efficient and standardized Prescient structure possible.

Develop detailed understanding of proprietary Prescient system, including but not limited to: structure, fire protection, scope, manufacturing, scheduling, and construction.
Engage with Krakow, Poland-based engineering office to understand potential structural issues, design and detailing durations, identify risks, and achieve resolution.
Reconcile architectural design intent, Ownership desires, and constructability concerns with Prescient standard components and structure.
Attend project meetings/calls necessary to have full picture of topics that potentially affect integration of Prescient system into new and ongoing projects throughout entire project lifecycle.
Prepare coordination packages for internal and external parties. This includes the review of items prepared or otherwise raised by the Krakow teams. These packages should be clear and concise, and allow others to provide feedback on the items within. All information exchanged should be carefully documented to ensure team alignment.
Review design drawings and models to ensure efficient design strategies are being used, conflicts are resolved, design scope is clear, and that details are current, in an effort to eliminate as many construction obstacles as possible prior to going vertical. Distribute review sets to Prescient EOR and ensure internal reviews allow time for incorporation of comments so that all deadlines are met.
Review and distribute Prescient shop drawing submittals, and coordinate external shop drawings and submittal information which impacts Prescient in return.
Ensure scheduling is current, accessible, and achievable by all parties. Coordinate all schedules and schedule updates with the assigned department contacts and work with the Prescient Krakow team to ensure project will meet all deadlines.
Continuously improve department processes, internal and external. Establish goals and Standard Operating Procedures, maintain constant communication, and learn how issues on one project were handled so that they are success on the next.
Track IDP hours for licensure (if applicable)
Attend code classes for credits towards IDP (If applicable)
Some travel may be required for this position.

Representing Prescient in a professional manner as well as communicating efficiently and accurately on calls, and in all internal and external meetings.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Degree in architecture, civil engineering, or related fields
3-5 years of experience in an architectural, structural, or drafting firm
Basic knowledge of metal frame architectural and/or structural design
Knowledge or experience in MEP coordination
This position operates in a typical office environment and sometimes requires trips to job sites or design team member offices.
This is a full-time, exempt level position.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Some light walking around the office and job sites is necessary.
