Duties: Under broad supervision, manages construction projects within assigned region for state owned facilities as directed by the Director of Construction Services.
Technical Competencies: Must be capable of reading and interpreting contracts and architectural drawings and have experience working with Microsoft Office Suites and Project Management Software. Must have experience working with the various construction delivery systems and a working knowledge of construction best practices and accounting principles. Must effectively communicate thoughts, ideas and facts orally and in writing; trusted to hold high-level clearance; commitment to quality service; manages group dynamics and challenges others to succeed; short-term and long-term focus; coordinates plans for multiple projects.
Working Conditions: This position is based in the Atlanta office. This position requires frequent visits to project construction sites, which are subject to outside conditions. Must be able to walk and maneuver around construction sites in various stages of development.

Minimum Qualifications: An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university; two (2) years of experience as a Senior Project Manager managing multiple complex projects and, four (4) years of supervisory experience (to include: General Contractors and Architects). Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel statewide.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the Minimum Qualifications, possess one or more of the following:
Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Other industry related certification
