Payette is looking for a highly motivated entry-level design staff to join our growing 3-D Visualizations Group. Beyond the creation of photorealistic renderings, this group works closely with architecture teams to study, develop, and present complex design solutions.
Candidates should possess the following prerequisite qualifications for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
Excellent 3D modeling skills with Rhino.
Rendering experience using 3dStudio Max and Vray.
Ability to multi-task various projects efficiently and work well under deadlines.
Open to learn new modeling tools and techniques as needed.
Experience in Revit, Sketchup and Grasshopper a plus.
Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Other position qualifications include:
Develop 3D renderings following 3D group’s standards and direction.
Create 3D models in Rhino from 2D drawings, hand sketches and design discussions from project teams and within 3D group.
Iterate through quick design options in Rhino to evaluate with project designers.
Edit models and modify them as required by the 3D Visualization team.
Strong design and graphic skills
Excellent problem-solving ability
Knowledge of scripting and coding a plus
Candidate portfolios should ideally demonstrate:
Examples of architecture modelled in Rhino
Examples of high quality renderings showing composition and lighting
Modelling output that demonstrate an understanding of architectural detailing
