This position will challenge all of your skills and allow you to participate in multiple opportunities such as: teaching, instructing, and mentoring students. With class sizes averaging 15-20 students, you will work side by side with students inside the architecture labs.
The Architecture department has the latest software, state of the art hardware, and up-to-date equipment including; 3D printers, a laser scanner, and a laser cutter. The Architectural Technology program is currently made up of 3 full time faculty members who are committed to teamwork, support and originality through their work. As a part of the instructional team, you will ensure that Madison College program graduates are well prepared with marketable technical knowledge and skills to thrive in the architectural workforce.
This position is responsible for instruction in the Architectural Technology program at the associate degree level. Instructors develop instructional strategies and curriculum as a regular part of their work, and are encouraged to serve on committees.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Studies, Interior Design or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution*.
2. Two (2) years (4,000 hours) of recent (within the past 10 years) related professional work experience.
• One (1) year (2,000 hours) of related work experience must be within the past five (5) years.
• Two (2) years of full-time equivalent teaching experience in a related area at an accredited college within the past five (5) years may be substituted for the one (1) year of related work experience within the past five (5) years.
