We are looking for talented and ambitious Civil Engineers to join our growing team.
If you possess these job requirements and skills:
Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering with a Master's degree preferred
3-5 years of experience with professional traffic engineering
PE or attain PE within 6 months in North Carolina and/or South Carolina
Excellent communication skills requiring staff and client interaction
Excellent organizational, time management and analytical skills are required
Thorough knowledge and understanding of traffic engineering principals and standards (HCM, MUTCD, AASHTO and ITE)
Significant experience with traffic engineering software (Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, and SIDRA)
Very proficient with AutoCAD and vehicle tracking
CDOT, NCDOT and SCDOT experience and deep understanding of their TIA and access guidelines preferred

What you will do:
Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out traffic engineering tasks and while working together with project manager and senior-level principal.
Manage traffic engineering projects related to traffic capacity analysis, signal warrant analysis, traffic modeling, traffic operations, traffic impact analyses, and other related traffic engineering work. The position will also involve preparation of technical documents, coordination of schedules, budgets, and meetings with staff, agencies and clients.
