Halliwell Engineering Associates is one of the nation’s leading building envelope consulting practices. We provide independent, expert advice to building owners, institutions and agencies regarding various types of building component and system failures. We are also positioned as a nationally recognized property loss evaluation and claims consulting practice. We are searching for an Architect to help us conduct forensic investigations of commercial, institutional, high-rise and residential building failures. This individual will assist our Clients in the determination, diagnosis and documentation of building defect evaluation and failure causation analysis. The selected individual will also assist in on-site investigations to determine the cause and origin of building damage, will provide detailed verbal and written reporting to the Client and may assist in the process of building restoration. The ideal candidate will have experience in building construction and design. The candidate will have conducted building component failure investigations along with other varieties of building envelope deficiency analysis. The candidate will also have had practical exposure to rehabilitation design methodologies along with experience in the repair of exterior wall cladding systems, roofing and fenestration systems.
