The Facility Engineer Analyst is responsible for participating in the programming, design, management, supervision, observation, and reporting for capital construction and renovation projects. The position will work closely with internal stakeholders from all areas of Rockwell, as well as external partners to bring consistency, vision, and accountability to these projects, assuring that they are completed on time and on budget. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design sense to the position and must have a thorough knowledge of building construction and project management. The position oversees construction projects as needed for both Rockwell Automation’s Global Headquarters and Flight Operations. All projects are reviewed to ensure they comply with all state and local regulations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works closely with key stakeholders to prepare preliminary designs, plans, and estimates for alteration, renovation, construction, and major maintenance projects.
Develop detailed plans, renderings and specifications to ensure clear communication of all construction, furniture layouts, products, finishes and accessories.
Review and manage project planning, budgets, schedules and deadlines for various departments.
Analyze project plans and establish critical objectives.
Host meetings with key stakeholders and company leaders.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Manage deadlines and conduct weekly status meetings.
Work with internal customers on various projects to establish work scope and timelines.
Consult with various engineering and architectural firms on project designs as needed.
Develop project schedules and estimated costs.
Monitor projects during construction for spending and schedule.
Complete project closeouts with Finance.
Maintain yearly blanket purchase orders with contractors.
Establish yearly Capital project costs for Fiscal year funding plan.
Conduct periodic space audits to determine space needs and priorities. Maintain accuracy of the space inventory data by utilizing the space information management system (Archibus).
Assist other department engineers with projects as needed.
Assist outside Rockwell facilities with projects as needed.
Process and expedite work order requests and maintain related documentation.
Evaluate and process purchase orders for timely completion of work orders.
Direct contractor/vendor activities related to the operation, maintenance or repair of buildings, grounds, equipment and systems.
Identify and analyze financial needs and develops operational and capital expense budgets that ensure cost-effective operations.
Assists in the preparation of the Facilities budget.
Effectively communicate and ensure positive interactions with internal and external customers, and resolve any customer service issues.
Assists in development and achievement of departmental goals and objectives in support of the mission, vision and values of Rockwell Automation.
Participate in professional activities to keep abreast of technical developments in the area of facilities management.

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
A minimum of two years of construction or facilities management experience.
Must be proficient with AutoCAD.
Strong computer background.
Must have strong verbal, written, and analytical and persuasive skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
Must be able to work independently.
Working knowledge in the areas of general maintenance: HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry.
Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin.
Experience with Archibus.
PMP certification is preferred.
Working knowledge of building codes and federal ADA requirements.
Working knowledge of OSHA standards and practices.
Proven technical problem-solving abilities and training skills.
Ability to assess needs and mobilize internal and external resources.
Ability to problem solve and implement solutions.
Technical expertise in the maintenance of buildings, equipment, control and alarm systems.
Ability to lead, direct, and participate in team environment with the skill to handle multiple responsibilities.
Ability to read blueprints, equipment diagrams and schematics.
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Ability to interface successfully with peers, management, vendors, contractors and customers.
