Our firm structure: Three Principal Architects with + 20 years’ experience each, three interns, two part time support staff.
We seek a mid-level professional to complement our team and help us continue to grow. We provide all aspects of professional architectural service including planning, design, technical investigations, construction administration and Special Inspection and project management. Our workload now is predominately public infrastructure/government, arts , education and medical, but includes a growing senior care base and occasional waterfront planning, retail, hospitality, and residential development. We pretty much do it all in a place rich in opportunity and with an unrestricted future.
Our practice covers a large region of small communities which necessitates a high degree of self-sufficiency and adaptability, as well as occasional air/boat travel in rural coastal Alaska. We live in a place vast natural beauty and abundant wildlife, with ample outdoor, education, arts and cultural opportunity. More than a million tourists visit our town annually for these reasons.

Please bring most of the following:
Technical knowledge of buildings
Experience with development of construction documents - drawings and specifications
Mastery of Revit and/or ArchiCAD (we use both)
Mastery of AutoCAD (we still use that on occasion)
Mastery of office tools and software
Additional Salary Information: Additional Salary Information: We typically pay hourly, and 1.5x for authorized overtime. We offer health insurance for full time employees. We have three weeks paid personal leave per year, plus 8 paid holiday days.
