The following description is for a position in the Architectural design division of Urban Building Workshop for Project Manager. The full time, exempt employee will work in the Santa Rosa office.

The project manger will supervise production of building permit submittal and construction documents for wood framed, residential structures. Projects range from Single-Family custom, single-family production homes to multi-family residential.
The employee will develop schematic designs into construction documents. Coordination with structural, energy and acoustical consultants will be key. The firm’s CAD standards and detail library will be employed in the production of these documents. Input from firm principal and clients will be integrated into the designs and the work flow.

Being a quick study, well versed in residential design conventions and familiarity with Type V and Type III building types is a must.
This is a leadership role so effective team management is critical.
Fluency in Autocad 2013 or higher is a must. Experience with 3D modelling and or Photoshop is a plus.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an architectural firm is desired.
Additional Salary Information: profit sharing depending on experience and performance
