We are currently seeking a Program Manager- Facility Condition Assessment to join our team as a member of our growing Technical Services division.
You're great at:
Conduct analysis of existing building architectural systems to aid in delivery of facility condition assessment reports.
Brings in architectural design expertise to the E&FS development teams, which may include project managers, construction managers, energy engineers, design engineers and account executives.
Perform staffing, capital planning, equipment replacement planning, and infrastructure analysis of facility systems.
Develop and facilitate design, visioning, and exploratory charrettes for clients ranging from the local community to C-level audiences.
Participates in design and process improvement meetings with client and the technology teams.
Participates in architectural designs for multiple McKinstry departments and projects.
Evaluates and manages project risk from an architectural perspective (IBC Codes)
Defines program scope and intent.
Develops Key Performance Indicators for projects.
Manages plans, set ups budgets and schedules.
Assesses, manages and communicates project risks.
May develop, establish and manage critical environment standards.
Coordinates resources to ensure proper staffing on projects.
Recommends enhancements to client plans to Development staff.
Develops final reports reiterating projects’ values.
Oversees the analyses of utility usage patterns of facilities to establish an energy base line and track reductions due to implementation of energy conservation measures.
Prepares energy savings reports with strong technical writing and graphing skills
Documents best practices and lessons learned to improve design and operational practices.
Responsible for the audits of customer facilities that ensure operating efficiency, optimum air quality, and compliance with the energy policy.
Defines and documents energy management strategies for customer facilities including “best practice” recommendations.
Recommends alternate energy sources and energy conservation measures.
Performs assessment and inventory of energy using equipment, occupancy patterns and building control systems.
Mentors team members.
Assists in recruiting, development and retention of employees.
at we would like to see from you:
Three (5+) years of experience in architecture, construction management, building operations, engineering, environmental science or equivalent field required.
BA/BS degree in Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent work experience required.
Three (5+) years of experience in designing commercial projects required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
Working knowledge of LEED rating system and other sustainability rating systems.
Working knowledge of existing buildings, facility management, active systems, MEPD and architectural systems required.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, Photoshop and Sketchup preferred.
Experience using Tableau is preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability and willingness to travel regionally and nationally. The amount of travel will vary up to 5 overnight stays per month.
Physical ability to walk jobsites in uneven terrain and climb ladders.
Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.
