The Intern Architect 4 will independently evaluate, select, and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications.
Perform architectural assignments with minimal supervision to develop project solutions through planning, schematic design, design development and construction documents.
Seek assistance on unusual problems and assignments reviewed for sound application of professional judgment.
Collaborate effectively within a project team and with consultants.
Recommend and selects procedures.
May be assisted by architects or technicians.
May be responsible for phases of individual revenue-producing projects.
Work on specific assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions through instruction from team leader.
A graduate of an accredited Master or Bachelor of Architecture degree program.
4-8 years of experience in an architectural firm.
Currently sitting for architecture exams.
LEED AP beneficial.
Revit, Microsoft Office, In-Design, Illustrator, PhotoShop and SketchUp experience preferred.
Practical experience in development and detailing of higher education facilities and Occupancy Groups A, B, E and M.
Practical understanding of building systems in Type I, Type II and Type III construction
Bilingual highly desired.
Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills are required.
Must have excellent writing and communication skills.
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience, +3% profit sharing!
