Samaha is seeking a Director of Marketing who is ready to join a team dedicated to making a difference by improving the built environment in our local communities.
The Marketing Director will work directly with firm leadership to develop pursuit strategies, manage responses to proposal solicitations, develop presentations, and lead outreach efforts in both published and digital media. The position will be supported by a marketing coordinator who will assist in the creation of deliverable marketing materials. The Samaha team of planners, architects and interior design staff will assist in the development of marketing materials, technical content and graphics as needed. The Marketing Director will be responsible for maintaining marketing materials and meeting deliverable deadlines for proposal responses, interviews, presentations, and awards submissions.
The Marketing Director position includes an opportunity to contribute in business development and expand Samaha’s growing client base both in project market and geographically. These markets include K-12, public safety, commercial, recreation, federal/military, industrial, historic preservation, healthcare and higher education.

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, journalism, English, graphic design, architecture or a related field of study.
The individual must have a minimum of 5 years experience marketing architectural or engineering services.
All applicants must possess outstanding communication skills, including writing content and demonstrating graphic talent.
A successful candidate will work well in a collaborative environment and be able to manage multiple simultaneous marketing efforts and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Candidates must be skilled in InDesign, Photoshop, and the Adobe and MS software suites.
