Roto has a unique opportunity for a Lead Architectural Coordinator for an upcoming international project that will bring to life to an interactive museum, creative innovation center, and public technology showcase. It doesn’t get more exciting than this. Both domestic and international travel is required in this position. The position is based in Dublin, Ohio (Columbus). The duration of this opportunity is 12 months minimum.
The Lead Architectural Coordinator will be assigned to a large international project and will be responsible for coordinating the intricate details and responsibilities associated with the design and construction of a custom, interactive, location-based attraction with high-end interior architecture. The work will take place in the United States, headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, with coordination/travel required to the client’s California-based affiliate, and some additional travel to the project sites in China.
Ensure the integration of design material from multiple, independent design teams.
Coordinate the design materials with the client’s building architects and engineers.
Oversee the fit-out design scope which includes interior partitions, ceilings and base MEP.
Maintain vision for the project and integrity of the design.
Act as the drawing coordination hub, the clearinghouse for project-wide standards, and an information source for US teams and their Chinese counterparts.
This position has no design, code or presentation responsibility.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
Significant experience with complex museum or attraction projects is absolutely required. Minimum 5 years.
Project experience rooted in architecture and up-scale interior design.
Firm understanding of exhibit design and constructability.
Stellar time management skills; Self-motivated. Ability to work independently.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to achieved desired outcomes.
Ability to contribute in a team-based, collaborative environment.
