Unispace is a global design firm with integrated project delivery capabilities. Our Midwest region is seeking an Architectural Project Coordinator to be based in our Columbus studio. Use in depth knowledge to prepare technical documents
Use thorough understanding of subcontracts/terms/scopes to enable effective project execution
Communicate with other designers, consultants, technical and constructions teams to coordinate work efforts
Pitch in where ever needed as a valued member of a cross-functional team
Perform design computations, research product specifications, compile project data, phase reports and other miscellaneous architectural assignments
Review proposed designs for compliance with applicable codes
Lead technical documentation for projects
The experience and knowledge you’ll bring to the table:
Associate, Bachelor, or Master Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Minimum of 7-10+ years’ industry experience
Significant experience with high end commercial interior office fit-out work
Must be highly proficient in REVIT
Relevant construction experience
Understanding of Health and Safety standards
Knowledge of building codes; understanding of drawings and specs
Experience in all phases of design: schematic design documents, design development and construction documentation
Experience with project management software systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong skills in managing subcontractors
